Loqu8 iCE shows the meaning, pinyin and tone colors of Chinese text under your pointer, anywhere on your screen.

What to include
- The version of Loqu8 iCE (shown in the app's About screen or at the bottom of its window).
- Your device and system, for example "MacBook Air, macOS 15" or "Windows 11".
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
- A screenshot if it helps. On a Mac, press Shift-Command-4; on Windows, Windows-Shift-S.
Purchases and restoring
iCE Pro and the Technical Dictionaries are bought directly from us, on Windows, macOS and Linux. To use them again on another computer or after reinstalling, open iCE’s Account tab, choose Already purchased? Sign in, and sign in with the email address you paid with. If something is still missing, write to us with that address and we will put it right.
Permissions on a Mac
LiveScan reads Chinese from the screen, so macOS asks for Screen Recording permission. It can be granted or withdrawn in System Settings → Privacy & Security. Highlight capture is not offered on the Mac. iCE works with clipboard capture if you prefer not to grant it.
